Random rants/Thoughts: Grey's Anatomy hair thing and everything else

You know what I can't stand? Why issit that everyone in Grey's Anatomy have perfect hair? I mean they're doctors who are working 1 day? 1 and a half day shifts? I dunno? How issit possible for them to have perfect hair? I hought there were beds for them to crash when there wasn't any emergencies...surely that would have tussled some locks right along with all that work stress? I mean I've see general practitioners who work less then 10 hr days having worst hair. ER was more gritty, here everyone is just too pretty. I'm soo tired with all the romance plot, with everyone crying and staff getting hurt in the hospital. With the romance thing, can't they like someone who's not a doctor? A nurse? The florist at the hospital? Anyone at all? And why is the interns and everyone elso just soo career ambitious? Like surely for some people its just a job, like any other job in the world.

Random Rants/Thoughts: Before there were mobile phones

There was a time when mobile phones, was a rare sight. And even if you saw one, it would be as big as your 500ml water bottle. Remember that Wall Street 2 trailer? Watching the newer Law & Order seasons and then watching some of old seasons of Law & Order in the same week reminded me of this once again. There were soo many scenes of the detectives hanging around the public phone, making calls to the office or even just waiting by it waiting for a call…big time waster there I’d imagine. A little travel back in time it gave me. Now, you just grab your mobile and make a call.

Random Rants/Thoughts: The Hunger Games

I haven't talked much about the Hunger Games since my last post on the book/movie months or perhaps more than a year ago. No I haven't forgotten about it. And yes I'm aware of all the casting news, as I'm sure the rest of the world is. The movie has been pretty much made to be another Twilight.

So the casting? I wished that  the leading actors, they had gone for people who were younger. Because I think as horrible as the whole Hunger Games spectacle was, it was even more horrific that the tributes were just soo young.

Anyhow the pictures from the set of the movie has been circulating the web, you can check out some of them here.  Seeing them in the costumes, I still do think that Jennifer, Liam and Josh look too old play 16/17 year olds especially since if there's going to be 3 (or 4?) movies, all of them will be in their 20s still playing teenagers. Of course though its not just about the looks (yeah we'd like to think), lets hope they'll play the part well.

Other than that, I'm still excited to see the movie. Oh let it be a good movie. A good adaptation will be a plus as well.
