41. Little White Lies

Plot: Every year, Max, a successful restaurant owner, and Véro, his eco-friendly wife invite a merry group of friends to their beautiful beach house to celebrate Antoine's birthday and kick-start the vacation. But, this year, before they all leave Paris, their buddy Ludo is hurt in a serious accident, which sets off a dramatic chain of reactions and emotional responses.

42. Lost in Austen

Plot: American remake of the British miniseries Lost in Austen.

43. The Moth Diaries
Starring: Lily Cole, Scott Speedman, Sarah Bolger
Plot: At an exclusive girls' boarding school, a sixteen year-old girl records her most intimate thoughts in a diary. The object of her growing obsession is her roommate, Lucy Blake, and Lucy's friendship with their new and disturbing classmate. Ernessa is an enigmatic, moody presence with pale skin, and hypnotic eyes. Around her swirl dark rumors, suspicions, and secrets as well as a series of ominous disasters. As fear spreads through the school and Lucy isn't Lucy anymore, fantasy and reality mingle until what is true and what is dreamed bleed together into a waking nightmare that evokes with gothic menace the anxieties, lusts, and fears of adolescence. And at the center of the diary is the question that haunts all who read it: Is Ernessa really a vampire? Or has the narrator trapped herself in the fevered world of her own imagining?

45. Damsels in Distress
Starring: Adam Brody, Analeigh Tipton, Megalyn Echikunwoke
Plot: Summary: The story revolves around a group of style-obsessed college girls who take in a new student (Gerwig) and teach her their misguided ways of helping people at their grungy university.
- “Not much is known of the movie, but I think it could be interesting. And it has Adam Brody. He did a pretty good turn as the evil band member in Jennifer’s Body.”


46. Mixtape
Starring: Chloe Moretz
Plot: A 12 year old girl finds a broken mixtape belonging to the mother she never knew. She decides to track down each of the tape's obscure songs in an effort to find out what her mother was like, leading to a reconciliation with the aunt who raised her.
- “Chloe Moretz has had a run of good movies, maybe this is one of them too”



47. Never Let Me Go 


Starring: Keira Knightley, Carey Mulligan, Andrew Garfield
Plot: As children, Ruth, Kathy and Tommy, spend their childhood at a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. As they grow into young adults, they find that they have to come to terms with the strength of the love they feel for each other, while preparing themselves for the haunting reality that awaits them.
- “I’ve been waiting for the movie for awhile now and it will only be shown locally in March. I’m also in the midst of reading the book.”

Plot: A guy and girl try to keep their relationship strictly physical, but it's not long before they learn that they want something more.

49. Now
Starring: Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Cillian Murphy
Plot: In the not-too-distant future the aging gene has been switched off. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. A poor young man who comes into a fortune of time, though too late to help his mother from dying. He ends up on the run from a corrupt police force known as 'time keepers'.
- “Sounds interesting. Noone wants to live forever right. To always be young is more attractive, if its forever than so be it…the plot certainly taps into that.”



50. On the Ice

Plot: On the snow-covered Arctic tundra, two teenagers try to get away with murder.
- “From what I understand a scuffle occurs and one of the kids end up dead. It kinda reminds me of Boy A, Mean Creek and Paranoid Park for obvious reasons”

31. I am Number Four
 

Starring: Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Dianna Agron
Plot: John is an extraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three like him have already been killed ... he is Number Four.
- “I had read the book synopsis of it a while back. Thought it was interesting. And was pleasantly surprised a movie was already in the works. So I’ll read it first then see this.”


32. If I Stay
Starring: ?
Plot: An adaptation of Gayle Forman's novel for teens. In this drama, a car accident changes the lives of a young musically inclined couple.
- “Sounds interesting and Catherine Hardwicke and Dakota Fanning were both rumoured to be attached to this last year.”


33. If I Want To Whistle, I Whistle
 

Starring: Catalin Mitulescu, Florin Serban
Plot: Two weeks before his release, a teenage prisoner learns that his mother has returned home. Meanwhile, he finds himself in love with a student working in the penitentiary as an intern.
- "Something bad is going to happen right?"



34. It’s Kind of a Funny Story

Starring: Keir Gilchrist, Zach Galifianakis, Emma Roberts
Plot: A clinically depressed teenager gets a new start after he checks himself into an adult psychiatric ward.
- “It just looks like the type of movie that I’d like.”


35. Jack and Diane
Starring: Jena Malone, Juno Temple, Riley Keough
Plot: Jack and Diane, two teenage girls, meet in New York City and spend the night kissing ferociously. Diane's charming innocence quickly begins to open Jack's tough skinned heart.
- “News of this movie came out after the release of Juno with Ellen Page and Olivia Thirbly to be the two leads, well the two leads have now dropped out and it looked like it wasn’t getting made. But apparently it still is, so yeah.”



36. Jane Eyre

Starring: Mia Wasikowska, Michael Fassbender, Jamie Bell
Plot: A mousy governess who softens the heart of her employer soon discovers that he's hiding a terrible secret.
- “I love watching adaptations of classic works and I’ve talk about this particular one plenty.”




37. Last Night

Starring: Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington, Eva Mendes, Guillaume Canet
Plot: The story follows a married couple, apart for a night while the husband takes a business trip with a colleague to whom he's attracted. While he's resisting temptation, his wife encounters her past love.
- “The trailer looks great. And there’s Guillaume Canet…love him in Love Me If You There.”


38. Like Crazy
Starring: Jennifer Lawrence, Anton Yelchin, Charlie Bewley
Plot: A British college student falls for an American student, only to be separated from him when she's banned from the U.S. after overstaying her visa.

Plot: A copywriter discovers a top-secret drug which bestows him with super human abilities.

Plot: Amidst the stark landscape of the Salton Sea, two 15-year-old girls test the limits of their friendship when one follows the other to Los Angeles, only to discover that the boredom of home may be better than learning to survive in the big city.

- “I don’t think I’ve even seen the original.”


22. Friends With Benefits


Starring: Mila Kunis, Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Richard Jenkins, Patricia Clarkson, Justin Timberlake
Plot: The relationship between two friends gets complicated when they decide to get romantic.
- “Looks funny. Issit just me, or does Ms Kunis voice sounds a little hoarse? Or has a voice always sounded like that?”


23. Fright Night
Starring: Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, David Tennant
Plot: A remake of the comedy-horror picture about a teenager who discovers his new next-door neighbor is a vampire.
- “I saw the original as a kid. I think the remake could be just as fun”


24. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
Starring: Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Stellan Skarsgård
Plot: An American version of the Swedish novel.
- “I haven’t read the book nor watch the Swedish movies but I’m curious how this version will turn out.”


25. Hamlet

Plot: Adaptation of William Shakespeare play
- “Not much is known about this one. Wonder if it’s a modern retelling?”




26. Hanna

Starring: Saoirse Ronan, Eric Bana, Cate Blanchett, Jason Flemyng
Plot: Hanna is a teenage girl. Uniquely, she has the strength, the stamina, and the smarts of a soldier; these come from being raised by her father, an ex-CIA man, in the wilds of Finland. 30. House at the End of the Street
Starring: Jennifer Lawrence, Max Thieriot, Elisabeth Shue
Plot: A young girl moves to a new town with her mother. Upon arriving, she discovers her abode is right across the street from one in which a double murder occurred. Even eerier, she winds up befriending the bloodbath's only survivor.
- “No release date, IMDB has it as a 2012 movie. I kinda think it will get a 2011 release since its already in post production.”
