Movies I Wanna Watch in 2011: Part 4


31. I am Number Four
 

Starring: Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Dianna Agron
Plot: John is an extraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three like him have already been killed ... he is Number Four.
- “I had read the book synopsis of it a while back. Thought it was interesting. And was pleasantly surprised a movie was already in the works. So I’ll read it first then see this.”


32. If I Stay
Starring: ?
Plot: An adaptation of Gayle Forman's novel for teens. In this drama, a car accident changes the lives of a young musically inclined couple.
- “Sounds interesting and Catherine Hardwicke and Dakota Fanning were both rumoured to be attached to this last year.”


33. If I Want To Whistle, I Whistle
 

Starring: Catalin Mitulescu, Florin Serban
Plot: Two weeks before his release, a teenage prisoner learns that his mother has returned home. Meanwhile, he finds himself in love with a student working in the penitentiary as an intern.
- "Something bad is going to happen right?"



34. It’s Kind of a Funny Story

Starring: Keir Gilchrist, Zach Galifianakis, Emma Roberts
Plot: A clinically depressed teenager gets a new start after he checks himself into an adult psychiatric ward.
- “It just looks like the type of movie that I’d like.”


35. Jack and Diane
Starring: Jena Malone, Juno Temple, Riley Keough
Plot: Jack and Diane, two teenage girls, meet in New York City and spend the night kissing ferociously. Diane's charming innocence quickly begins to open Jack's tough skinned heart.
- “News of this movie came out after the release of Juno with Ellen Page and Olivia Thirbly to be the two leads, well the two leads have now dropped out and it looked like it wasn’t getting made. But apparently it still is, so yeah.”



36. Jane Eyre

Starring: Mia Wasikowska, Michael Fassbender, Jamie Bell
Plot: A mousy governess who softens the heart of her employer soon discovers that he's hiding a terrible secret.
- “I love watching adaptations of classic works and I’ve talk about this particular one plenty.”




37. Last Night

Starring: Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington, Eva Mendes, Guillaume Canet
Plot: The story follows a married couple, apart for a night while the husband takes a business trip with a colleague to whom he's attracted. While he's resisting temptation, his wife encounters her past love.
- “The trailer looks great. And there’s Guillaume Canet…love him in Love Me If You There.”


38. Like Crazy
Starring: Jennifer Lawrence, Anton Yelchin, Charlie Bewley
Plot: A British college student falls for an American student, only to be separated from him when she's banned from the U.S. after overstaying her visa.
- “Sounds like it could be fun”



39. Limitless
 
Starring: Bradley Cooper, Anna Friel, Abbie Cornish
Plot: A copywriter discovers a top-secret drug which bestows him with super human abilities.
- “The trailer looks cool. I expect it to be fast and fun.”




40. Little Birds
Starring: Kate Bosworth, Leslie Mann, Juno Temple, Kay Panabaker
Plot: Amidst the stark landscape of the Salton Sea, two 15-year-old girls test the limits of their friendship when one follows the other to Los Angeles, only to discover that the boredom of home may be better than learning to survive in the big city.
- “Looks like it could be good. Ms Temple does have some interesting movies coming out this year.”

  1. this is a great list to see whats coming out! i think I Am Number 4 looks pretty cool actually, and its not the type of guff i normally go for. looks like fun
