I actually saw The Last Houst on the Left, I think Region 1, if not Region 2, available for rent at Laserflair. The movie which only opened here on 20 August, is still showing at several cinemas.

This is one of my favourite movies ever...adapted from one of my favorite books. I actually own the VCD...but the quality is inferior of course. So I was horribly tempted to buy this yesterday...when I saw the region 1 DVD at HMV going for less that $14. Yes I know...its cheap, especially for a region 1 DVD and an awfully good movie to boot.I have actually rented the same DVD before...but I couldn't remember if there was a commentary. If there was, I was definitely going to get it. But I was horribly dissapointed...there is none. How can there be no commentary for such a great movie. Crap movies with no artistic direction get commentaries...and this doesn't?

Well apparently Bandslam is already in theaters...yeah I know, who knew right? And with that came the new, New Moon trailer. And of course pretty much within a few hours the trailer has leaked online.
I think its been said before, its not exactly a typical trailer. It has a bunch of clips of the movie, coupled with voice overs and actual clips of Taylor Lautner talking and selling his character Jacob. I think we should call it the Team Jacob trailer. And yes we got to see a sneak of the wolf pack, Jane and is that the Volturi's lair? More please.

Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan who one day decides to become a super-hero, even though he has no powers, training or meaningful reason to do so.
I watch more DVDs than regular TV programming. When I do watch a show on TV, sometime when I am not able to catch or fully understand a scene or what a character is saying, I find myself reach for the remote control. And start continually pressing the rewind button trying to repeat the scene again. Yeah I'm so used to subtitles and scene selections of dvds ;)

A new series of Surrogates movie posters have been released. One of them above, the rest of them, you can view at IGN.com here. All of them featuring what seems like ads with models...who are robotic surrogates...
Flixster has the plot summary as:
People are living their lives remotely from the safety of their own homes via robotic surrogates — sexy, physically perfect mechanical representations of themselves. It’s an ideal world where crime, pain, fear and consequences don’t exist. When the first murder in years jolts this utopia, FBI agent Greer (BRUCE WILLIS) discovers a vast conspiracy behind the surrogate phenomenon and must abandon his own surrogate, risking his life to unravel the mystery.
