Anne Hathaway is to star as Judy Garland in Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland(read the news here). I guess I can see it...she does have those big eyes doesn't she. But hmm...haven't we already seen a movie , well TV movie on Judy's life like 8 years ago, Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows. Which I thought was pretty good...the two actress who played Judy played her really well, they even manage to look like her...how do you top that right? Its been said that this movie that is to be made, is tailored for the Oscars...can't help but agree here. Plus I mean, how many shows/movies about Judy do we really need in a decade, even if its from a different perspective?...Can't find another tragic actress Hollywood?
