I love watching movies adapted from books and usually I try to read the book first before catching the movie. And if a movie I've read gets turned into a movie...I get excited about seeing it on screen. So anyway I was just thinking about doing a post on all the books that are getting the film treatment in 2009...when I found this article on Examiner.com titled 2009 book-to-movie adaptations to look forward to (or dread); watch all the trailers.
The movies mentioned are:
The Reader
Not Easily Broken
Defiance
Hotel for Dogs
Inkheart
Coraline
He's Just Not That Into You
Confessions of a Shopaholic
Youth in Revolt
The Watchmen
Race to Witch Mountain
Angels and Demons
The Taking of Pelham 123
My Sister's Keeper
Its a nice little article that gives a list of book adaptations to be released from January to June...and includes the trailers of the movie, if its already been released that is. The article is in two parts. Part 1 and Part 2 Enjoy! And hope they come out with the rest of the months of 2009.
