Sleepwalking is one of the movies I had in my Movies I Wanna watch in 2008 list. And well the trailer has finally been released...check it out below.
Now the plot summary that was provided in most of the movie sites about this flick were pretty minimal...something about how a young girl (Anna Sophia Robb) copes with her mother's (Charlize Theron) abandonment...so I pretty much thought she was struggling to survive and navigate through this world alone...which had a White Oleander sound to it. But with the trailer now out...we know more of the story...apparently with the mother gone, her real uncle (Nick Stahl) takes her under his care (at least she still has someone who cares right) and they go off to visit his father (Dennis Hopper), her grandfather, who he has a rather strained relationship with. The story looks more complex than what the initial plot summary provided us with. Thats pretty much what we got off from the trailer anyway. So will the mother come back...and if she does...will the daughter forgive her?
I thought the trailer looks fine. Thankfully they didn't have the cheesy voiceovers. And the story sounds interesting enough. It does have some capable actors in it too...Could be a good drama. Wait and see.
Enjoy the trailer for now.
