Posters Galore: Prom Night

Quite like the poster. The choice of colour...texture... tiara falling over face and having an image of a scream. But I'm confuse...Is she screaming in fear or for joy...I mean I know its a horror flick and its quite obvious it should be fear...but still...its quite ambiguous...it could be either way. If they were trying for fear...well they didn't make it quite very clear.

ComingSoon.net has its plot summary as Donna's senior prom is supposed to be the best night of her life, one of magic, beauty, and love. Surrounded by her best friends, she should be safe from the horrors of her past. But when the night turns from magic to murder there is only one man who could be responsible... the man she thought was gone forever. Now, Donna and her friends must find a way to escape the sadistic rampage of an obsessed killer, and survive their Prom Night.

Apparently this Prom Night is another remake coming to us in 2008 among a string of other remakes. I have neither watched nor heard of the original which goes by the same name and stars Jamie Lee Curtis...but hey...I'm curious to see how this looks like...I remember the mid to late 90's as the period of teen slasher flicks...Now could this flick be as big Scream...?
