Well this is a new trailer...its supposedly an international one. Whatever the case...this one has more new scenes for us. Just a close up of the characters...and of course the international trailer. Click here to view it.Enjoy. So can't wait for this flick :).

Kirsten Stewert in Twilight

I have to admit I knew nothing of Twilight until recently...when I was reading some movie sites and there was news that there is going to be an adaptation of Twilight a young adult vampire thriller. So I went to Amazon to read up on what the book was all about. Its sounds all very interesting...You should read the editorial review section of Amazon here and learn more about the book. Now if you're lazy, ComingSoon.net describes it as a story of 17-year-old Bella, who moves to a small town to live with her father, and is drawn to a pale mysterious classmate who comes from a family of vampires.

I'm definitely interested...I like Vampire flicks...especially one with a good story...like Interview With the Vampire...rather than just all action violence and blood. The only downside...it may be turned into an all out teen vampire flick since Twilight is a book aimed at teens. So lets hope its done well and would be able to appeal to adult audiences. And well, Kirsten Stewart has been on board to play Bella...she is a pretty good actress ...especially her performance in Speak...so I guess thats a good start. Though since I've never read the book I can't honestly say she fits the role.Regardless I now wonder who will play Edward, Bella's love interest.

Gilmore Girls is Over. What now Girls?

Actually for the local viewers…we’re still at the sixth season…somewhere near the end of the season.

But yes technically it is over. The last episode of the last season of Gilmore Girls aired in the US mid April. Yes sad right?…the girls have grown up, and moved on. [Reality sinking in] There will be no more new episodes!!! But wait there was news, at the time the series ended, that there might be a tv movie…not sure if its true or not…But I’m torn…As much as I love the Gilmore Girls as a whole…I have to say that the recent seasons were never as good as the first few…(my favourite was of course the first) I’ve watch it less and less especially since I’ve missed the last few episodes of season 5. Soon…I just didn’t try hard enough to catch it…After a while…you know, the quirks of the town that was once unique and interesting and funny has outworn its novelty. Lorelai has gone through that commitment thing over and over again…And Rory…hasn’t she succumbed to the World of the Wealthy…the very one her mother tried to escape from…Not only is she dating a little rich trust fund boy…she seems quite comfortable with the World of the Wealthy…weekend gateways at Martha’s Vineyard…personal coffee carts. Plus tv movies of tv series have never been made well…I just don’t see how they could make a movie, only about an hour longer than the typical episode, that is going to tie up the suppose loose ends that it supposedly have…so as much as I would love seeing the characters reunite in the future…no…I don’t think the tv movie would be a good idea though of course I would still want to watch no matter how bad it was

So with the Gilmore Girls for now, over and done…what are out favourite girls up to? Future Projects?

Lauren Graham aka Lorelai Gilmore

Well after that role in Evan Almighty, playing the wife of Evan Almighty, it seems she has only one other film project. Its Flash of Genius. According to ComingSoon.net, Kinnear plays Robert Kearns, the inventor of the intermittent windshield wiper, who spent most of his life battling the Detroit automakers he charged with stealing his invention. Graham, plays Phyllis Kearns, who watches her husband's obsession with legal retribution suffocate their marriage and put a strain on their children.

Ok so that sounds boring. Unless I see some trailer, a good one, I’m not slightly interested in it. Lauren Graham is yet again playing a wife…

Alexis Bledel aka Rory Gilmore

Since Gilmore Girls wrapped she has to films in the works, one a sequel to Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants…I have to say I didn’t even like the first one. It was well boring…its one of those teen flicks for girls that tries to make you feel warm and fuzzy…all fluff…sending messages like…be yourself/ bff/friendship never ends…I don’t buy that…and so I don’t like the story nor the movie. So with that I might not like the second one too.

The second film she’s just been attached to is Ticket to Ride. According to ComingSoon.net, Alexis Bledel plays Ryden Malby who graduates from college and is forced to move back into her childhood home with her eccentric family, while she attempts to find a job, the right guy, and just a hint of where her life is headed.

That sounds ok…only if it doesn’t get too romantic comedy like.

You know what…I would love to see Alexis Bledel playing some unlikely character other than the typical sweet girl ones she tends to get (its all attributed to her sweet looks)…I’ve never exactly watched Sin City but from what I know…Becky is a prostitute…a definite shift from what she usually has done…yes so do more of those unlikely roles. Even Lauren Graham…her Lorelai was strong, funny, quirky…her very own person…and now for movies it seems she has been relegated to the mother roles a replacement to the friend roles she used to have. So sad. Hmm I dunno…maybe they should get a pay cut and choose one of those indies…that usually have weird, eccentric, interesting characters to get a better range?

Heroes Fans Rejoice

I received my Starhub Telescope in the mail yesterday. Good news...Heroes is coming back for the second season on Star World in January. Yay. Quite fast yaa... Actually I've been reading some comments around the net...Some say it hasn't been as great as the first season...that's understandable. When the first season is great...people start having high expectations which are hard to meet. And of course its always hard to churn a good story consistently. I mean seriously where have we heard the case of the great first season and poor subsequent seasons ;) [don't get me started on this...I probably need a whole new post on it] I guess I just should wait and see how it is and judge myself...:)

Film RoundUp [1] Beowulf, The Lovely Bones, Final Destination 4, Alice in Wonderland

Yes I haven't really posted anything for the past week. Weekdays are pretty hectic...so usually I don't have the time to write...So I think I'll start this Film RoundUp [when there's a long period of non posting or whenever I'm lazy to do a full post :) ] consisting of my short takes/views on the past week movie news.

Beowulf Tops Box Office --- Wow its doing really well...even in Singapore its no. 1. The star power worked I guess...I'm sure Angelina Jolie definitely helped. I haven't watch it but I still can't help but think it looks very video game like.

The Lovely Bones' Release Date --- Its 13 March 2009 (this is the US date of course)...wow that's a long way off. Can't wait!

Final Destination 4 In The Works --- Another one? I really liked the first one...I thought it was rather original. I actually watch parts of the second one on tv...but it just didn't work for me.

Tim Burton To Direct Alice in Wonderland in 3D --- I've read that there's suppose to be a mix of animation and live action...now I hope its more of a life action movie...Simply cause I've never really cared much for animation and I wasn't never a fan of the story itself, just as I was not much of a fan of Peter Pan (2003), but the movie (I've read neither books) truly change everything...I finally understood the story, the charm of Peter Pan.Now maybe this could be a great adaptation and it could simply change my mind too.

I mean seriously they are literally golden. Look at the excessive amount of tan...I'm sure its probably all airbrushed on them to highlight their 'hot' bodies. I say...If Kate Hudson has to wear a tiny bikini...to make it fair, they should have Matthew McConaughey barechested...you know...like Paul Walker in Into The Blue poster...Now wait...maybe McConaughey has gone to the slightly flabby sight during the poster shoot....??

Posters Galore: Made of Honour....Whats up with the cast of Grey's Antomy becoming bridesmaids???

Look at the airbrush.

Dempsey without the airbrush. Click image for a larger picture.

What is up with the cast of Grey's Anatomy's and becoming bridesmaids...Of course I'm not talking about their real life here...its the reel life.

First there was Katherine Heigl's 27 dresses about a girl who has served as a bridesmaid 27 times...and who is in love the guy who is marrying her sister. Now it seems Patrick Dempsey is starring in another bridesmaid movie...he plays a guy who is in love with a girl who had ask him to be her maid of honour. The trailer is still not out yet...so no idea how this is gonna look like...but the poster has been released...Check out the amount of airbrush done on Dempsey's. The wrinkles near the eyes are significantly less...and the skin smoother...

Trailer Watch: The Other Boleyn Girl...yes the trailer is finally out!!!

Yes...yes...its finally here.
First impressions...It seems to be a rather explosive looking flick...it kinda has a 'commercial' 'blockbuster' look.I was hoping it was more of a serious drama, something to rival Elizabeth. So hopefully its just the trailer...doing its job of selling the flick...Besides that...the costumes are absolutely beautiful...the colours soo rich...I wonder if they are at all accurate for the the period...But I did notice the accents were a bit weak...And the scenes that were in the trailer...they seem to differ slightly from the book. Did Anne ever asked Mary if the King will like her? Was it ever made clear from the beginning that they wanted Anne for the King? I maybe wrong but I don't remember it so. And ...I have to say...Eric Bana looks incredibly handsome as Henry...he fits the character's look so well with that beard...the very picture of young Henry with the gorgeous costumes...hah thats if he actually looks as good as Eric Bana playing him... Bana looks even better than Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Henry in the Tudors, who I don't exactly picture as the young Henry...the beard wouldnt look well on him don't you think.

If you don't know by now...I love period/costume/historical dramas...and I absolutely can't wait for this. Aaahh...the scandalous lives of monarchs. And before I forget...here's the link to the trailer...click away. Enjoy!!!!!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Sneak Peek Clips

Excited about the next Harry Potter movie??? Well a clip has been making its rounds online...click here to watch.

This is actually a sneak peek clip that is included in the Order of Phoenix dvd, and of course, as always, some fan out there has uploaded it online for all of us to enjoy. The clip gives us a peek of a small scene of Harry and Dumbledore...the quidditch uniforms and sketches of the orphanage...it all looks brilliant. I love it when they show us the usually overlooked aspects of movie making...the costumes...and the sets...So enjoy the clip!!Can't wait for the movie!

5 Reasons Why its Pretty Pathetic Ch 5 is Only Showing Heroes Now.

Well as the title says...this is 5 reasons why we think its pretty pathetic that Ch 5 is showing the first season of Heroes only now. Seriously, we just about laughed every time the tv spot for Heroes comes on...which has steadily been shown since September...September!(if not mistaken) Thats about a good two months before its suppose to premiere on the channel this month...tomorrow to be exact.

  1. The first season premiered on US screens on 26 September 2006...thats more than a year ago. And right now they are airing Season 2. Yep Ch 5 is a year late and a season late...still that's quite forgivable, since they tend to get stuff a season late...maybe due to a need to measure the success of a particular show before purchasing it.
  2. Star World had actually aired the first season at the end of January this year. Now Star World is pretty much known for getting shows quite slow (Ugly Betty, Brother and Sisters among others)...and if they managed to snap this acclaimed series fast and realise its potential....why hadn't Ch 5?
  3. Season one of Heroes has already finish airing on Star World...a good 3 months maybe 4 or so ago. And now its pretty much in rerun heaven.
  4. Even the DVD of Season 1 has been available since late August.
  5. And and...get this...even the cast...well part of the cast, came to Singapore about a month or two ago .Yes can you believe it? We may be wrong here, but seriously when was there ever a time when a cast/or part of a cast of any Hollywood tv series has ever come here to promote their series... So finally showing the series only after the cast has come is really a sign that they are terribly late in airing it.
So there it is...our 5 reasons. Basically...with all the reruns and the dvd having already been available, everyone who had really wanted to watch it have found a way to watch it. And issit just us or has the hype of of Heroes had died down a bit? Wouldn't be wrong to say Ch 5 initial potential viewers for Heroes has just been cut by maybe about half.

Trailer Watch: Awake with Jessica Alba and Hayden Christensen

I think its a been at least a good year since I saw E! showing the cast filming this flick...now finally we get to see the trailer.

According to IMDB "Awake," is a psychological thriller that tells the story of a man (Christensen) undergoing heart surgery while experiencing a phenomenon called "anesthetic awareness," which leaves him awake but paralyzed throughout the operation. As various obstacles present themselves, his wife (Alba) must make life-altering decisions while wrestling with her own personal drama...wow thats scary and the statistics the trailer provides...1 in 700 remain awake...thats crazy, if its actually true...issit true?...Now that would really make anyone afraid to go for surgery.

Reading the the plot summary on IMDB ages ago...I had thought that was all to the story...that poor Clay had to go through the horrible experience, and well the aftermath...some lawsuits or something maybe. But the trailer now reveals there's more to it...It seems that the surgeons are plotting to somewhat sabotage the surgery...killing Clay(Clay being loaded and everything, so maybe for his fortunes?)...and he, all this while is lying there awake, listening, but is paralyze and unable to do anything. But of course...this might all be a bad nightmare...everything might just be in Clay's head...it could be that movie you know...the twist endings...The trailer wasn't terribly brilliant or anything but yep...I think it just gives me enough to make me want to watch and find out whats the deal with everything.

Check out the trailer below

Posters Galore: The Eye

I'm of course talking about the Hollywood remake here...the one with Jessica Alba...So what do you think?...does it give you the creeps?...Not scary enough I think...Maybe a long wrinkled hand, with broken nails grasping would have been more effective.

Posters Galore: Beowulf

So with as any other huge Hollywood blockbuster...Beowulf has released a lot of posters...this is just one of the more recent ones. This one we actually get a full view of Beowulf half naked...he and his well toned 3D body...6 packs and all(Leonidas anyone?) and of course...theres Angelina Jolie's legs, in 3D of course, to entice, I'm sure the many male viewers it expects to get. And hey remember the last post I had on Beowulf, where I said...it looked like as if Grendel was wearing heels...which would have been weird cause she was suppose to be this medieval creature or something...well guess what...this poster clearly shows...that in some warped way...Grendel's feet has her own high heels...how convenient...I wonder if that was in the poem...or the movie just wanted to make full use of Angelina Jolie's legs....

The Movie Game

Yes...thats what I call it because I can't think of anything better...I've actually played this before...somewhere, on some site but I can't seem to remember where...I'm sure there's a lot out there thats quite similar. Its quite fun really...:)...You know...you can flex your movie knowledge and all...haha. So...I thought...I'll try make my very own one...and try make it a challenging one...of course...using only the movies I've watched... :)

So...very easy....just guess the movie title from which the scene(12 scenes in all) came from and also...find a link between all the movies (what do they have in common) Can you guess them? ...Lets see how this goes.

Trailer Watch: The Eye...the remake of course.

This is a fairly anticipated horror flick...simply because its a remake of a pretty popular Asian horror flick of the same name. Now I never got around to watching the original...but hey remakes tend to be slightly inferior to the original thus this way I won't be disappointed right?

The teaser trailer is decent enough...actually I quite like its choice to use a simple score, an audio of the actual scenes would have been great too...at least its better than the usual cheesy voiceovers...But whats the deal with the onslaught of fires? I thought she was suppose to see ghosts? At least they made the end of the teaser freaky...it is horror flick after all. As a whole though...the trailer is just doesn't look scary enough. With the first impressions...what do you think? As good as the original?

My Picks: Scary Movies

I know, I know Halloween has come and gone...but I didn't have the time to do this list then. And I admit...some of them aren't all that scary scary...but they do have the typical, ghosts, supernatural, aliens, beasts and the like...that are traditionally seen to fall under the scary movie category. So here goes. And may I warn you...they are MAJOR SPOILERS HERE.

The Sixth Sense

Great story, great acting by the young Haley Joel Osment and an overall great film. Neither M. Night Shyamalan nor Haley Joel Osment has managed to top what they did here. Now the scares in this movie are subtle...you never know that they're ghosts...until they turn around and ta da ...a gruesome fatal wound. I'd say the one scene that really made me cover my eyes was when the "poisoned" girl(yes...it was a young Misha Barton...aka Marissa of the OC) suddenly appeared inside the red lit tent and started vomiting...now with that lighting, that was very scary to me. Turns out...she was pretty harmless in the end.

Rosemary's Baby

I'm glad that I managed to watch this movie...because this is a real gem...In Singapore...I don't think this is as well known as lets say...The Poltergeist, The Exorcist or The Omen...which is a pity...and I say check this one out quick. Is this film scary...sure...and like the above in a very subtle way...more psychological horror really. There are no ghosts...no supernatural entities...no hideous beasts...What we have is a creepy apartment with harmless looking yet creepy old folks who are sinisterly plotting an elaborate plan to impregnate Rosemary with the Satan's spawn, and of course respectfully....and no less, with her husband's permission!!! Now if that isn't frightening I don't what is. And Mia Farrow was of course just superb in this...her Rosemary, with that famed haircut, was just so frail and fragile...running around, pregnant and frantic with fear of what was happening to her.

The Devil's Backbone

I almost almost did not watch this...why?Because...well because of the bad disc cover art...it looked like a horribly bad horror flick...one of those B flicks...but because I had previously read a really good review of it somewhere...I just thought...lets just rent and see it...and I didn't regret it. It is a wonderful film...And this is a ghost story...as in there is a ghost haunting the orphanage which is the setting of the film at the end of the Spanish civil war.But this isn't an all all out horror flick...its more of a drama...with a ghost...and one that is full of heartbreaking tragedies...Its safe to say that the ghost here isn't the scariest thing that has occurred at the orphanage...I can't say enough good things to say about this flick...so all I can say is just go watch it! I have to add...I just love the quote at the end uttered by Casares "What is a ghost? A tragedy condemned to repeat itself time and again? An instant of pain, perhaps. Something dead which still seems to be alive. An emotion suspended in time. Like a blurred photograph. Like an insect trapped in amber."

Pan's Labyrinth

Ahh yes Pan's Labyrinth often touted as the sister movie to the Devil's Backbone...no doubt the popular one of the two due to its huge commercial and critical success. Rightly so as it deserved everything as it is a...(here's the word again)Great film. It is in a way quite similar to the Devil's Backbone. The protagonist is yet again a child...though this time the setting is post civil war Spain (rather than end of civil war)...and well no ghosts at all, replaced by a fantasy world. This time the horrors come mostly and courtesy of Captain Vidal and his army...exacting their absolute power on the people and the rebels...and unexpectedly from Ofelia's own imaginary world too, one that she creates to survive the harsh realities of the real world but just as frightening. The ending yet again... was a sad, heartbreaking ending...a tearjerker indeed...though...you could actually say that the ending was pretty much open to interpretation...some would see it as a happy ending...I saw it as a sad one(I'm trying not to spoil this for anyone)....Another must watch here.

Shutter

You know those creepy photographs...with mysterious shadows or ghostly figures on them...yes...well thats what this movie began with...After a road accident...a couple begins to see mysterious figures in their photographs...and a for a few minutes it misdirects me...I actually thought the accident had everything to do with those creepy pictures...boy was I wrong...It was probably just coincidence or just timely...who knows...But the turn it took was definitely a right one. I'd say the story is more well written and solid...less confusing like say...The Ring...And the scares...there are a few....still with the whole pale long haired girl...but I'd say it was done well, the hauntings definitely made more sense... Again the story here is one that stemmed from a tragedy. A tragedy that refused to stay buried and cling to the very life that chose to be a spectator to a vicious crime*hint* I say...the creepiest scene...was near the end...when the main character realizes why he had been feeling a huge burden on him...

And as you might have heard...yes an American remake is being made...and I'm eager to see how that will turn out.

The Ring

Now the movie that started it all...(the Asian horror craze...yes that why we see soo many of the remakes in Hollywood now.) ....The Ring. Though I have to say...I only watch the original after the remake...now not that I didn't know about it before...rather, I just never got around to watch it. So anyway...the first time I watched the Ring(the remake) was at my cousins house...And yes I found it pretty creepy from the very beginning...the atmosphere was definitely set...although you know...I could never really get what the hell was going on....whats the deal with Samara really? What happened to her? Thing made much less sense. I felt the story flowed less well, incoherent as compared to say Shutter. But that there was no doubt that Samara is scary....Now here's the thing...near the end of the movie...the player jammed...and there was nowhere else to play other than on the computer...so all of us huddled around the computer with me in the center...And when that scene came out...you know the one where Samara first creeped out of the television...her long fingers outstretched trying to crawl out...I pretty much wanted to jump out of my seat...I mean really...that was effectively frightening...using a computer...everything just seemed much more closer and it really seemed she was really going to crawl out...freaked me out...though it didn't scarred me for life or anything...it was only for that moment...It was certainly an effectively scary scene...I guess thats what made the series incredibly popular.

Final Destination

Now here's something a tad different from the usual teen horror flick...which are usually of the slasher kind. This time its death and its coming to get you....Issit scary? Sure...A higher power trying to kill people ...even though they somehow managed to escape it once,so that the balance between the dead and living is maintained...and killing people in horrible gruesome deaths?...Of course its scary...and gross. The first few scenes...when the plane explodes...and you see what its like from within...that pretty much sets the tone for the rest of the movie. A good scary teen flick and a pretty original one at that.

The Omen

Its been a long long time since I've seen this movie...the first time I've seen...I must have been bout 5-6years old...it was on late night tv...And its the name that stuck with me ...Damien...does that not sound wicked? It does doesn't it?...a little devilish. The scare factor...little Damien of course ...the very personification of evil...the spawn of Satan...the cause of the 'little' accidents and deaths around him. I admit I don't remember much of the movie except...yes it was scary and the final scene...that Gregory Peck's character was not successful.

Nang Nak

Another Thai horror flick...Equally good and as scary. This one is set in rural Thailand in either early the early 20th century or late 19th century. What I really like about this flick was its effort in keeping with the authenticity of the way of living and costumes of Thailand in that particular era(as mentioned before...I like period flicks)...although I can't honestly say it was faithful,I've never read nor studied on such things...but it certainly look very true and real. And you don't even have to throw in ghosts and undead to make the film scary...just the isolation of the characters living in this tiny hut in the rural area was pretty daunting enough. Of course the flick does build a good atmosphere...its almost always dark...almost always looks like its dusk or dawn. Now the undead...throw in a wife that died during childbirth...who refuses to except death...and when her husband comes home after serving in the army...she's there waiting for him...with their 'dead' newborn baby...and they make themselves appear to him like the living!!...So he pretty much doesn't know the awful truth. Now is that freaky enough? The most wicked scene I say hands down...when he bends down...and finally sees everything...

The Others

Ok so many people think its somewhat like the Sixth Sense...me too actually...except it the exact reverse...or should I say opposite*hint*. Again...I like the setting...Huge mansions are always scary...especially when there are more rooms then there are people. Throw in the fact that this mansion is pretty isolated on a small island...everyone else is on the mainland...throw in also the fact...the children of the house are sensitive to light...thus the the windows are always closed and the lady of the house, Grace does an exhausting ritual of closing and locking all the door of a previous room when entering a new one. Again the atmosphere for this movie...keeping with those typical of other horror flicks, is dark and gloomy and misty....remember that scene when Grace met her husband?...now I'm still unclear about that scene. But anyway...this movie is creepy...just have to be patient though to see how things unravel...I say it was worth it...the scares...again was pretty subtle...much like the Sixth Sense...One of the freakiest scene...the one with the old medium with the child's voice...Hah...even the dead pictures were pretty freaky...did people really use to that.

28 Days Later

Actually I only watched like half of this...It was showing on tv...and I only managed to watch the second half...the part where Cillian Murphy's character first met the father and daughter in the apartment. Was this a scary flick...no doubt...a virus infecting people turning them into zombies on a murderous rage...sure its scary...And when they went on that journey in that little car to Manchester...We get to see how deserted the highway was ...how deserted England looked and the silence...I say the silence was just terrifying...And when they went in the tunnel...I just about held my breath there...thinking...something horrible is going to happen...something horrible is going to happen...the zombies will surely jump them...In a tunnel...one would be sitting ducks...In the end they made through...Now thats not to say the worst is over for them...lets just say there is more to come. You know...I was never really one to watch any zombie flicks...I've heard pretty good reviews on this flick...and though I had wanted to watch it...I never made an effort to actually watch it...until it was telecast on tv...even then it was only half...Still I am pretty impressed and like it(I would much like to see it in full)...It was indeed an effectively terrifying flick...not just because it was a zombie flick with blood and gore...but because all of it began as a virus...a deadly contagious virus transmitted by blood...now that IS frightening.

Dark Water

Another Asian horror flick. The main character is a single mother going through a bitter divorce...fighting for the custody of their only daughter. She struggles to find a good job and find a good place to live in and yet has to settle for a less than ideal apartment that's a little dingy. And of course things would get worse when weird water stains starts to appear on the ceiling and soon the apartment seems to have a terrifying life of its on.Sure the haunting is pretty scary and creepy here...but whats more... is the sad tragic predicament the mother is in, she is struggling to make a decent living to be able to keep her daughter...and things just gets worse and worse and with the disturbing haunting of her apartment...she now has to struggle with her sanity and still fight for custody...Just the situation she's in...about to lose everything she loves no matter how hard she tries, which is plausible...is daunting enough...you don't even throw in the weird puddles.

The Faculty

Ahh...one alien movie...I'm not a fan of the kind...and I'm sure I wasn't fully aware what I was in for when I first caught this...but I liked it....seriously this was a fun horror flick...I say its even a great teen horror flick. The story is simple enough. The aliens have landed on a small town. They have taken over the bodies of a high school faculty and through them the students...then then the country...then the world...yes world domination....hahaha...Of course it never got that far...A school geek realises what they up to, he and a band of unlikely students have come together to save everyone from total alien invasion. And the casts here are all good. The adults are effectively sinister as the faculty...intent on infecting everyone...The kids are equally good as the heroes...and this is where movie goers are introduced to Josh Hartnett with that brooding way too cool for school attitude of character who is an 'entrepreneur' at heart mixing and selling his own drugs. The effects here too are decent enough...some alien scares here and there...but what really carries the movie through... is the script...its not overload with cheese and injected with enough humour...to make it a very very entertaining film.

Ok thats it...thats it...I'm sure there are others...But these are the ones that came to my immediate mind.

Posters Galore: Hayden Christensen in Jumper

Just when I was saying how cheesy the scenes with the teleportating to the world major structures were...and now it turns out they made a poster out of it...Do I like it? No...its like a mix of the Mummy and National Treasure.
