Half Light (2006)
Most people probably haven't even heard of this movie and undoubtedly the only recognizable name here is Demi Moore. Now we haven't seen her acting in anything in quite a long time. What made me want to watch this movie is that it seemed to have some sort of a supernatural theme and I haven't seen a good ghost story in a long time either. And this little movie is not entirely bad.So basically this movie centers around Rachel (Demi Moore) who's a mystery writer who had just lost a child. With the help of a friend, she found a little house in some isolated part of the country to help her focus on writing a novel she's under contract to finish. There she befriends a lighthouse keeper who is sensitive towards her loss and worries.Rachel soon gets the feeling that she's being haunted by her dead son. Things start to unravel and at one point of time I wondered if this was like one of those movies like Flightplan and the Forgotten where we're suppose to guess if Rachel was crazy and the whole thing about a dead son was just her imagination.Well things fall into place and she isn't.There are ghosts too. An ok movie overall. Watch it if you like supernatural movies. Not a scary one if you thought it was. And I wouldn't really watch it again.
